Jerry Glick reporting: In an interesting show at the Aviator in Brooklyn, NY, televised by ESPN, Chris Fernandez answered the call when original foe for Ali Oubaali, Edgar Santana, had legal trouble and was scratched. Fernandez should have kept his mouth shut because he took a frightful beating finally being stopped by referee Steve Willis at 1:39 of the eighth round of a junior-welterweight ten.
