By Ben Cohen: Joan Guzman successfully defended his 130lbs WBO world title against a game Humberto Soto over 12 rounds at the at the Borgata Resort in Atlantic City in New Jersey. The scores were 117-111, 118-110 and 117-111. The fight was closer than the scorecards suggested, but Guzman displayed some excellent counterpunching and utilized his mobility to make Soto miss for much of the bout.
