Ayr 3-1 Lochee United

Second division Ayr will play neighbours Kilmarnock in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup after beating Lochee United 3-1 in their replay. Neil McGowan put Ayr ahead on 36 minutes and early second-half goals from David Gormley and Bryan Prunty extended the lead. Paul Blackwood scored for Lochee.

Droylsden 2-1 Chesterfield

Non-league Droylsden stun Chesterfield with a 2-1 win in their FA Cup second-round replay. A brace from Seann Newton gives them the win, with Jack Lester on target for the League Two side before getting sent off late on. Droylsden now face Ipswich at Portman Road in the third round.

Diouf could leave Sunderland

Fowler leaves Blackburn
