Spectators killed in Czech rally

Three spectators died after a rally car drove into the crowd during a domestic championship race in the Czech Republic on Saturday. Slovak driver Lukas Lapdavsky was also reportedly injured in the crash near the eastern Czech town of Stramberk and taken to hospital, along with an injured spectator.

Toyota duo demoted to back of grid

Toyota’s Jarno Trulli and Timo Glock are sent to the back of the Australian Grand Prix starting grid after stewards ruled their cars breached regulations.

World champion Lewis Hamilton will start from the back of the grid at the Australian Grand Prix after McLaren changed his gearbox following trouble in qualifying.

Diffuser row appeal hearing date set

Formula One’s Australian Grand Prix diffuser row will be decided at an international court of appeal hearing in Paris on April 14.
