Nonito Donaire scored a clear 12 round points win over the much heavier Rafael Concepcion to capture the WBA Interim super-flyweight title at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday night. In the co-main event, Steven Luevano retained his WBO featherweight strap via disqualification after challenger Bernabe Concepcion struck the champion twice after the bell sounded to end the seventh round sending an unprotected Luevano to the canvas.
